Refugee Program for Canada

Canada launches new temporary residence pathway to welcome those fleeing the war in Ukraine.
OUR GUIDE:

We have just completed the process of applying for a family of 3 (husband, wife, child).  It took over three hours to finish, as this application is very long and some of the options inside of the application are not straightforward or not working as they should.

1. Read 3-step instructions

2. Insert your email address and confirm it.

You will get a unique IRCC Portal Invitation Code, which you need to use to set up your account.

3. Complete your registration using IRCC code, and start filling out the application.

The form is pretty long, so be patient filling it out!

IMPORTANT to Know When Filling the Application:

a) Keep in mind to select "Country of Birth" as "Union of Soviet Socialist Rep" for yourself, your spouse/kids or your parents, if born in USSR.

b) This application is very Strict in selecting the dates.  The dates cannot overlap.  For example, while you are filling out the residency part of the application you need to make sure that "start dates" and "end dates" DO NOT overlap.

The same applies to your "work experience" and "education."

In addition, your Education cannot overlap with your Work Experience dates (the system assumes that while you were in school/college you could not work).

c) Your work experience can't have gaps in dates.  If you didn't work, between jobs, you need to specify that time period as "unemployed" or any other option from the list
d) When specifying your residency you need to select Ukraine as your residency up to the date that you left it.  Then you need to select the country to which you have fled. Select

e) When attaching your passport photos, if you take a picture of them by your phone, make sure that you rename the file before attaching, and that it does not contain any "dots" in the name of the file.  Otherwise, the system will not upload your images.
f) The application is FREE as the Canadian Gov't has generously waived all fees; so, there will be $0.00 CAD charge at the end.

After you submit your application.  You will receive two emails per person, confirming that the process has been started.
